About Insulin Curves
- Activity Curve: Shows how fast insulin is working at any given time. Peak is when insulin is most active.
- IOB Curve: Shows how much insulin remains active. Starts at 100% and decreases to 0% at DIA.
- DIA: Total duration until insulin effect is considered negligible (typically 9 hours).
- Peak: Time when insulin activity is at its maximum (faster insulins peak earlier).
